Supplier Development

JAMAK Global Sourcing relies heavily on our global supply partners in order to exceed our customer's expectations. We require our supply partners to have a quality system in place that is compliant with ISO9000:2000. The majority is certified to either ISO900:2000 or TS16949. We have actively guided several of these supply partners through the certification process. JAMAK quality and engineering staff are on-site at these suppliers periodically throughout the year.

JAMAK Global Sourcing supplier management program utilizes a sophisticated rating program to provide our suppliers with feedback on their performance. This evaluation is provided on a quarterly basis and includes feedback on quality; delivery; timely problem resolution and first time pass rate for PPAP submissions. Improvement goals are established and measured in each of these areas. JAMAK makes business award decisions based on the performance of these suppliers.

Coordination of customer requirements and application of best-in-class solutions is provided through all the stages of a project, in close cooperation with Procurement; Engineering; Quality; Supplier and Customer.
